Job Summary
Broussard Mechanical is an established, commercial mechanical contractor looking for new team members with experience in plumbing, HVAC, or Sheetmetal. Only committed, self-motivated individuals should apply.
Plumber requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial installation experience
- Ability to read and understand prints/schematics
- Experience in all phases of commercial plumbing installation; From underground to fixture
- Ability to work unsupervised; Supervisory experience a plus
- Experience with all forms of pipe including copper, PEX, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and no hub couplings
Sheetmetal Mechanic requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial installation experience
- Ability to read and understand prints/schematics
- Experience in all phases of commercial duct and unit installation
- Ability to work unsupervised; Supervisory experience a plus
HVAC Technician requirements:
- Ability to install and troubleshoot various commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to lead an install team in the installation of HVAC equipment
- Ability to read and understand prints/schematics
- Willingness to learn and grow with our company
- Excellent people skills
Helper requirements:
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or Sheetmetal preferred
- Ability to follow direction to complete specific tasks
Responsibilities and Duties
General requirements for all candidates:
- Basic tools required for the job
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance, perform work on uneven surfaces
- Frequently climb ladders, get on and off equipment, and work from various heights
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to use hands for activities such as holding, grasping, turning and pulling
- Must follow safety policies and procedures, wear required personal protective equipment, and perform job in a safe manner
